Guido Borelli  (1952-)
 
Guido Borelli was born in Caluso, Italy. He received his art training at Academia Albertina, in Turin. Borelli currently resides in Northern Italy.  His private collectors are many of the world’s most important and influential people, including: President Jimmy Carter, Kevin Costner, Jack Nicholson, and Oprah Winfrey.
Inspired by the movement of shadows, Guido's oil paintings reflect nature as their focal point depicting Italian landscapes, homes and villas of Northern Italy and the Alps. His paintings are a wonderful combination of traditional styles and yet feel very contemporary, very today. They are infused with a Romantic light, rich with Impressionist brushwork and color sensibility. These paintings must be seen, must be experienced, and must be appreciated.
