Ann Hanson is an American artist known for her Western-themed paintings, particularly those featuring horses and the Western lifestyle. 
 
Biography:

    Born in Bremerton, Washington, and raised in rural Wyoming, Hanson attended Northwest College in Powell, Wyoming, as an art major. 
     
  • Career & Style:
    She has been actively pursuing a career in art since 1986, working primarily in oil and pastel, and is known for her realistic and detailed works. Her studio is located near Shell, Wyoming
     
  • Artistic Focus:
    Hanson's work reflects her deep love for the West, often capturing subtle movements, expressions, and the reality of the Western lifestyle, with a particular fondness for painting horses. She uses photography as a sketching tool but focuses on capturing the "heart and soul of the West" in her paintings .
