ABOUT THE ARTIST
John Longendorfer (1930-2021) was an American artist known for his work in scienece fiction and fantasy art. 
Key biographical details:
Early Life & Artistic Interest: As a teenager, he developed an interest in art, creating numerous paintings and drawings of antique cars.
Artistic Style & Mediums: He specialized in fantasy art, primarily using pen and ink, watercolor, and acrylics, and also exploring various mixed media. His work often leaned towards medieval fantasy themes.
Golden Fish Art Gallery: Longendorfer, along with his son Edwin Longendorfer, established the Golden Fish Art Gallery in Milford, PA, which showcased their own fantasy artwork as well as pieces by other local artists.
Family: He was married to Carole Ann (Rapp) Longenderfer for 54 years and had five children. He was also a grandfather to eleven grandchildren.
