Kerry Hallam (1937–2020) was a renowned British-born artist celebrated for his vibrant, impressionistic paintings, particularly those depicting coastal and city scenes with a distinctive use of light and color.

- Early Life & Education: Born in Northern England, Hallam displayed artistic talent early on, winning a six-year scholarship to London University's Central College of Art where he studied under notable figures like Leslie Cole, Patrick Heron, and Hans Tisdale.
- Military Service & Musical Interlude: After graduating, he served in the British military in Hong Kong and Malaya. Later, he had a brief but notable career as a musical performer in the late 1960s and early 1970s, even opening for James Taylor and releasing an LP.
- Move to the US and Artistic Dedication: In 1973, Hallam moved to the United States, settling in New England and fully dedicating himself to painting. He established his first studio in Boston and later opened a studio and gallery on Nantucket Island in 1981, where he continued to work.
