  • Visual Composition
The artwork presents a surreal interpretation of the biblical story of original sin.
    • Central Figures: Adam and Eve are depicted in a classical, yet stylized manner. Adam is seen raising his hand in a gesture of hesitation or astonishment.
    • The Serpent: A playful surrealist touch is the serpent coiled into the shape of a heart, which Dalí used to juxtapose the concept of evil with human love.
    • Color and Texture: The piece features vibrant shades of gold, orange, and blue. The composition is characterized by a "whirlwind" of daring lines and vibrant shades, typical of Dalí's imaginative style
This image features the iconic couple with fluid lines, dreamlike imagery, and a restrained color palette. Dalí used this biblical narrative to explore themes of temptation and the unconscious, often blending religious themes with his signature "dreamlike" surrealist iconography.
About the Artist: Salvador Dalí (1904–1989)
Salvador Dalí was a leading figure of the Surrealist movement and remains one of the most iconic and influential artists of the 20th century. Born in Figueres, Spain, Dalí was a master of technical precision, using a "hand-painted dream photograph" style to render the bizarre and the subconscious with startling clarity.

The Master of Surrealism
Dalí’s work is characterized by its exploration of subconscious imagery, Freudian symbolism, and meticulously detailed landscapes. His eccentric personality and flamboyant mustache made him a global celebrity, but it was his unparalleled ability to manipulate visual perception that cemented his legacy in art history.
