TERRY MIHLRAD is a graduate of Pratt Institute and the American School of Pratt Institute and the American school of design and has worked as a commercial artist in a New York advertising agency. While continuing in his studies in fine art he became Increasingly Interested in pastel. Mr. Milhrad studied this subtle medium with the well-known artist/teacher, Harold Stevenson. (It is interesting to note that Norman Rockwell had earlier personally selected Mr. Stevenson as one of his students.) Over the years, Mr. Milhrad’s work has received ever increasing recognition and has also been honored with numerous awards for outstanding achievement in the medium of pastel. The prints of Mr. Milhrad’s work are distributed by Marlin Art of Deer Park, NY.
